A student sharing beauty through his craft
On the eve of Women's Day, beautiful artificial flowers picked in a row at the entrance of the institute attracted the attention of many. They were prepared by Shohista Omonboyeva, a second-year student of the Faculty of Transport.
Shahista was born and raised in the village of Gurtepa, Mingbulok district, and currently lives in the city of Namangan. She learned to make flowers from her mother and continues with her sister.
- Melt soaps and pour them into molds to make flowers of different shapes. We can make 100-150 small artificial flowers and 6-7 large artificial flowers in one day. They are sold from 15,000 soums to 500,000 soums. It lasts for a long time, emits an elegant smell, - says Shahista.
The student earns 4-5 million soums per month through this profession. Sardor Giyosov, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, who came to communicate with the young people of the institute, also gave a high assessment of his art.
