Dear women professors and teachers, workers and students!
On behalf of the team of the institute and myself, I sincerely congratulate you on March 8 - International Women's Day. I wish you to be healthy and always in such a happy mood for the happiness of your family and loved ones, our country, which lives in honor of the value of women.
Today, 250 women are working in our institute. 82 of them are professors. In 2023 itself, 10 of them received the doctor of philosophy - PhD degree. Our women take part in various local and foreign competitions, publish books and manuals, and make a significant contribution to the rating of the institute.
Taking into account that the number of female professors and teachers is increasing, the "Council of Women Scholars" was formed for the first time in our institute. We hope that in 2024, the number of our women who are considered worthy of scientific degrees and titles will increase even more.
Our students are also pleasing us with their success. Among the 6 students who received state scholarships in the 2023-2024 academic year, there are Islam Karimov scholarship holder Shahzoda Gulomjonova and Beruniy scholarship holder Husniabad Valijonova. The fact that we have 4 girls in the ranks of the "Shield" group organized at the institute makes one happy.
Yesterday, on March 7, the President's speech at the ceremony dedicated to the International Women's Day stated, "Women, in particular, girls, to study, get a higher education, get a profession, is a service for the happiness of the family, the development of children, and on this basis, for the development of the whole society. will do."
We also support the policy of the head of state to strengthen the position of women in higher education and will further strengthen our efforts in this regard.
