A meeting of the public group "Shield" was held at the Namangan Engineering and Construction Institute
At the event, a member of the regional department of the public council under the Ministry of Defense, retired lieutenant colonel Alokhan Turgunov, chairman of the veterans council of the regional Defense Affairs Department, retired colonel Hasanboy Khidirov, deputy chairman of the council, retired lieutenant colonel Nozimjon Ismailov, prevention inspector Sirojiddin Shergoziev and members of the group took part.
During the dialogue, they talked about the goals and objectives of the "Shield" public groups. This group was established based on the joint decision of the Ministries of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Defense, Internal Affairs, Youth Policy and Sports, and the National Guard.
Its main task is to educate students in the military-patriotic spirit, maintain public order, prevent crimes and fight crime, and help stabilize the social and moral environment in higher education institutions.
