The Namangan Institute of Engineering and Construction held a holiday event called "You are still holy, holy woman"
The rector of the institute opened the festive event with a congratulatory speech.
In his speech, the rector noted that today there are about 250 professors, teachers and employees working at the institute, 10 of whom managed to get the doctor of philosophy degree last year. He wished such achievements to continue and presented a thank you note and festive gifts.
The second secretary of the Embassy of India in Uzbekistan Sri Srinivisan welcomed the participants of the event on behalf of Ambassador Manish Prabhat and expressed his best wishes.
Aziz Tashmatov, chairman of the regional council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, congratulated the women of the institute on the holiday and handed over souvenirs.
The festive event continued with songs and dances performed by artists.
