About the department
The department was established in September 2013. More than 1,000 highly qualified specialists, trained during the activity of the department, are working in various sectors of the national economy, as well as in educational institutions. During the past period, the candidate of technical sciences was an associate professor. A. Alinazarov (2013-2016) and Associate Professor S. Kholmirzayev, candidate of technical sciences, worked as department heads. Currently, associate professor I. Akhmedov is working as the head of the department. 17 professors and teachers work in the department, including 1 professor, 5 associate professors of technical sciences, 5 senior teachers, 1 teacher and 5 intern teachers, as well as head of the office and laboratory assistants.

In 1976, he graduated from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute, majoring in "Manufacturing of construction products and structures". He has been working at the institute since 1982. Author of more than 200 scientific and methodological works, including 3 textbooks, 3 monographs and 3 patents. In 2015, the textbook of construction materials and products won the first place in the Republican textbook competition. In 2017, he was awarded first place in the Best Pedagogue competition in the field of construction and architecture.
