An extended meeting dedicated to the discussion of the President's video selector on priority tasks in the training of engineer personnel was held at the institute
The meeting attended by vice-rectors, advisers, deans, heads of departments and heads of departments was opened and led by the rector of the institute.
In his speech, the rector touched upon the main aspects defined at the meeting held by the head of state.
It was noted that the meeting took place in a critical spirit, that the direction and specializations in technical universities do not meet the requirements of manufacturers, as a result of which 60% of engineers do not work in the direction they studied, as an example.
Wide-scale reforms based on this video selector were discussed at the institute. Their responsibilities were determined and it was noted that they should start work soon with a clear plan.
It was stated that it is necessary to further strengthen relations with production enterprises, in particular, it is necessary to pay special attention to the practice of students.
