Targets to admit students who fall into the bottom 20%

Aim to enroll students from families whose income is less than 20%

In the 2021-2022 academic year, 2,817 students were admitted to the institute, including 327 students who are orphans, whose father or mother died, who are low-income, and who have a disability - households with an income of less than 20 percent. Based on this indicator, the number of students whose household income is less than 20 percent has doubled compared to the previous academic year, and all of them have been excluded.

Admission of students who are orphans, low-income, those who have lost their father or mother and who have a disability - those who belong to the group of households whose income is less than 20 percent, to provide them with socio-economic assistance, and to support them from a financial and spiritual point of view, the work of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 20, 2017 It was implemented on the basis of Resolution No. 393.

It was determined that these students belong to this group by conducting social surveys, and based on their applications for free dormitory or other types of assistance, measures were taken to create all conditions for full use of educational opportunities at the institute. In particular, these students are provided with food, free access to cinema, theater, museums, recreation centers and hospital services in the region.
